This might be a good time to come clean about something we've been meaning to mention for a couple of weeks now which is that the new Pigeon Detectives single is actually quite brilliant.
Brilliant in a kind of "band forced by label to make festival anthem along the lines of 'Monster'" way, but brilliant.
Whatever next, The Zutons turning in an unexpectedly triumphant glam rock epic? :(
