Morten just a pretty face: it's the new Example video

  • August 26, 2009
  • Popjustice

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAgegxdVdFU

This, readers, is the video for what is turning out to be one of our favourite songs of the late summer: Example's beautiful 'n' romantic 'Watch The Sun Come Up' single.

The video makes a brilliantly literal accompaniment to the track plus, because Example's now signed to Ministry, it also features A Bird In Her Undies, except of course in this instance it is 'in context' and 'artistic' and is therefore totally allowed. Another reason it is allowed is that Example himself is depicted in his pants, and that means that everyone's even.

We appreciate that featuring this video on Popjustice somewhere in the region of seven days ago — when it first appeared online — might have been more sensible in terms of 'keeping on top of things' but what is important here is that the video has now been featured. A little late, granted. But who, ultimately, gives a hoot?
