The 'Me & Mandy' hitmaker talked about his writing of popular song to Capital FM (as quoted here), saying: "I always go in [the studio] with a song title and a concept, then after the song's done I'll go, 'Yeah, that sounds like The Wanted', or 'Why don't we pitch that to Kylie?' or 'Why don't we pitch that to Enrique Iglesias?'"

"I'd like to get a song on Enrique's album [and] I'd like to write a song for One Direction," he added before explain­ing, "I'm not really averse to who sings my songs."

That's "not really averse" as in "I wouldn't mind a swimming pool".
