It has been announced that Robyn will headline The O Music Awards on October 31st.
The event will take place at an as-yet-undisclosed location and will be broadcast live across various platforms including MTV, MTV.com, VH1.com and via mobile. According to MTV.com, the event celebrates "the artists, innovators and fans who are constantly transforming digital music culture".
Robyn will open the event and perform again at various other points in the show. Accordingly, pop innovators Kelly Clarkson and Demi Lovato will present awards at the ceremony along with celebrity beard-wearer Travie McCoy.
Voting is still open in the O Music 'Fan Army FTW' category in which Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj are all nominated. Devastatingly, all other voting in categories such as 'Too Much Ass For TV' and 'Best Artist With A Cameraphone' has now closed.
