Icona Pop are supporting One Direction on their forthcoming US tour

'Get Lost' hitmakers Icona Pop have been announced as the support act for One Direction's forth­com­ing tour of specific parts of America.

Caroline and indeed Aino will some songs, old and new, before One Direction during the snappily-titled Honda Civic Tour Presents One Direction On The Road Again (!) trek which, starts on July 9 in San Diego and finishes in September.

This is all very well of course, but what do Icona Pop have to say about it all? Are they thrilled to be joined the One Direction guys on the road this summer and can they not wait to perform their new music in stadiums across America?

"We are so thrilled to be joining the One Direction guys on the road this summer and cannot wait to perform our new music in stadiums across America," they said in a statement (as quoted here).

July 11 — Levi's Stadium @ San Francisco, CA
July 15 — CenturyLink Field @ Seattle, WA

July 31 — Lucas Oil Stadium @ Indianapolis, IN
