Jessie J's new album won't be coming out in America yet, but will feature some Pharrell 'collabos'

  • September 11, 2013
  • Brad O'Mance

Jessie J newThe songs Jessie 'Jessie' J recently recorded with Pharrell Williams are for the American version of her album 'Alive' because her label "don't feel it's finished yet".

"I did a week with Pharrell," she explained to That Grape Juice, going on to describe it as "amazing".

Asked if the songs were for 'Alive' she replied: "It kind of is. It's more for the American version of this album. They don't feel it's finished yet…So the album in America isn't coming out at the same time as the rest of the world."

She also didn't seem that happy about it all either to be honest: "If it was up to me, the whole world would be getting the album at the same time, but they don't feel it's ready".

Interesting.
