Both Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj have announced that they're leaving American Idol after one 'season' (series) on the judging panel.
The news of Carey's departure (which was tweeted by someone from her PR team) was sweetened by the confirmation she would be going on a world tour at some point.
Meanwhile, the 'Sticks In My Bun' chanteuse tweeted: "Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn't trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!"
