Calvin Harris was asked by Rihanna to do a song for her new album but he found the deadlines too daunting. :(
Having a chat about it all with BBC Newsbeat, the 'Michael Jackson' hitmaker explained: "Rihanna's been recording her next album and I saw her and she said 'you have to do something for my album, you have to, we need you'."
"And then you're like 'yeah, I need to do this' so then you go into the studio and you're like 'OK, well I need to sit here and I've got two days to make one of the best records that I will ever make in my life, let's see how that works out'. Obviously I didn't do anything, so I'm not on the record."
Oh Calvin.
But you at least managed to knock some old shit together, right?
"I did a decent tune, but you can't work under that kind of pressure. I can't anyway," he continued.
Expect to see this song on Cheryl Cole's next album.
