Unicorn Kid would quite like to be a massive fucking popstar at some point in the future

  • October 2, 2012
  • Brad O'Mance

Unicorn Kid would quite like to do some proper "Top 40 pop" on his second album.

Chatting to the BBC, the 'Did You See Me Coming? (Unicorn Kid mix)' hitmaker said: "I think it's good to dream big. I would really like to start, maybe on the second album, start working on really the Top 40 pop."

"It's the stuff I like. I love good pop music, like genuinely interesting, cool new stuff," he added.

Mind you, he'd quite like to produce for some pretty big popstars too if that's okay with everyone.

"I want to do stadiums, that's my plan," he explained. "I want to produce for big artists and I've always wanted to make pop music even from the start, just in kind of my own way. So I reckon in the future, that's the plan."

Being Scottish and a man, he was asked about Calvin Harris, to which he said: "I am a big fan of Calvin Harris. I think it is amazing that he came out of Scotland, because not a lot does. Hopefully one day I will get as big as him."

Maybe one day Unicorn. Maybe one day.
