Florence Welch is quite pleased that people like her new album

  • September 12, 2012
  • Sam Hine

In case you were wondering, Florence Welch is pretty happy that her 'Ceremonials' album has been successful.

The 'Bedroom Hymns' hitmaker spoke to the Daily Star about this very topic, she noted: "It would have been difficult if it wasn’t successful because it does work well in bigger environments. I’m lucky that people have responded to it well."

"It’s meant to make people feel like they’re in a place where there is a ceremony going on," she explained. "There are rituals and revelations."

Speaking about her controversial throat, Flo reassured us all that "it's back to 100%".

"But I had no alcohol and no caffeine. I looked at people drinking Diet Cokes and I wanted to suck their blood."

Bit extreme, but there you go.
