We didn't really want to make a Big Song out of this belter by German singer - and former Monrose member - Mandy Capristo.
We love it in a very deep and pure way, of course, but we were hoping Mandy's album 'Grace' would contain so many extraordinary tunes that we could make one of them a Big Song instead.
Well we gave the album a spin recently and it's bloody rubbish, so 'The Way I Like It' gets its time in the sun after all, and that's not a completely bad thing because it is, of course, a cracker.
You can get it on UK iTunes (avoid the acoustic version obviously) although there's no news yet on a full UK release. That's pretty much to be expected, we suppose, although we thought that about 'Call Me Maybe' and look what happened there.
