3x Versions Of ‘Christmas Wrapping’ Worth A Festive Listen

While we wait for Robbie Williams to unleash the ‘Candy’ / ‘Christmas Wrapping’ mashup he must SURELY have lined up (come on Willo you’ve only got seven days to get it online), here are three rather listenable versions of one of the greatest Christmas songs in THE HISTORY OF CHRISTMAS.

1 ‘Christmas Wrapping’ by the Spice Girls

This is Mel C’s finest hour, and considering that her ‘canon’ includes the Hex Hector vocal club mix of ‘I Turn To You’ that is no small achievement.

2 ‘Christmas Wrapping’ by The Good Natured and Collette Carr

This ace version appeared in our inbox last night. Part of its charm lies in its subtlety, of course, although we wouldn’t have minded it turning into a balls-out raveathon near the end.

3 ‘Christmas Wrapping’ (Long Version) by The Waitresses

What’s better than ‘Christmas Wrapping’ by The Waitresses? A long version of ‘Christmas Wrapping’ by The Waitresses.

So there you have it. 3X Versions Of ‘Christmas Wrapping’ Worth A Festive Listen, and yes we know Summer Camp did a passable version but this is a 3X not a 4X, and yes we know Glee also did it but that has been very carefully and deliberately left off the list due to being inconsequential.
