Tom from Keane thinks the charts are “in a sorry state”

Story filed by Brad O'Mance on May 9, 2012

Notorious LOLmachine Tom Chaplin from Keane has said some harsh words about the current hit parade.

Talking to the Daily Star, Chaplin seriously said the following words: “The charts are in a sorry state and it’s all just noise to me.”

Chappo thinks “fake pop has taken over” alongside “terrible Europop and shit R&B that makes me think: ‘What’s going on? Didn’t this rubbish sound tired in the Nineties, let alone now?’”

You need to listen to ‘Starships’ on repeat for an hour Tom, that will sort you out.
