Pet Shop Boys are releasing a new b-sides collection

Story filed by Brad O'Mance on November 17, 2011

Pet Shop Boys are releasing a new b-sides collection album ‘thing’ next year.

‘Format’ will feature 38 b-sides and bonus tracks originally found on the duo’s singles between 1996 and 2009. Speaking to Varsity, Neil Tennant stated quite rightly that “some of our best songs are b-sides, because on a b-side you can do what you like”.

‘Format’ will be released on February 6 2012, and according to the band’s official website they are “currently working on their 11th studio album, which is due for release in early autumn next year”.
