The Little Mix single will be played on Radio 1 on Monday

Little Mix have confirmed that the first play of ‘Wings’ will be on Radio 1 on Monday. It will follow their first performance of the song at T4 on the Beach the day before.
The calm and collected four-piece interrupted their CD-signing schedule to reveal this new detail in a missive to fans via Soundcloud.
Other details were thin on the ground, but the quartet do adopt a smorgasbord of accents veering from Australian to Scottish to God-Only-Knows. At one point they are interrupted by a man called Adam. He seems quite nice.
‘Wings’ will be released to iTunes on August 22, with the physical release (!) to follow the next day.
