Sound the positioning klaxon, Aiden Grimshaw has been talking to The Fly

Aiden Grimshaw is not the same Aiden Grimshaw that we all knew and loved (for a couple of weeks) on The X Factor.

Ahead of his baptism of musical credibility at The Great Escape in Brighton last weekend the Katie Waissel casualty confessed to serious alternative music publication The Fly: “I don’t feel like X Factor Aiden anymore”.

In fact, such is his credibility that he went off and blew all his cash from singing ‘Mad World’ on booze. “I feel like some dude who’s had a bit of money,” he said, “spent it all, got pissed a lot and wrote an honest album.”
