Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ is the UK’s Number One single and Muse are Number One on the album chart

Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ is the UK’s Number One single this week, knocking Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ to Number 2.

In the midweeks ‘Diamonds’ was 246 copies behind One Direction’s ‘Live While We’re Young’ but finishes the week 19,000 ahead, with sales of over 105,000. One Direction have to make do with a new entry at Number 3.

Elsewhere, Adele’s ‘Skyfall’ is new at Number 4 after it sold 84,000 copies in just 48 hours, while Ellie Goulding’s ‘Anything Could Happen’ is new at Number 5.

One the album charts, Muse are at Number One, P’!'nk’s a non-mover at Number 3 and DJ Fresh’s ‘Nextlevelism’ is new at Number 14.
