Destroyer of Children’s Dreams Nicole Scherzinger will play possible prostitute Mary Magdalene in the UK tour of Jesus Christ Superstar this summer, reports Theater Mania.
The ‘We Are The World 25 For Haiti’ chanteuse was rumoured to be starring in the film version of the musical, but will instead star alongside unfunny piano botherer Tim Minchin and whoever wins the title role following ITV1′s search for Jesus Christ Superstar.
Helping with the search will be Melanie ‘Mel’ C and ‘Careless Talk and Silly Lies’ hitmaker Jason Donovan.
