Leona Lewis is launching a competition that lets us remix her new single

Story filed by Sam Hine on August 28, 2012

Global Songstress Leona Lewis is launching a new competition that involves us, the fans, remixing her new single ‘Trouble’.

Not only will your remix be judged by Leona and Fraser T Smith, but you will also feature as the B-side to ‘Trouble’, which is actually pretty amazing.

Oh and you’ll also win a tidy £1000 and a pair of ‘top-of-the-range’  headphones.

But why is Leona doing this, you ask?

To save money and wallow in ‘interactivity’ for the sake of ‘interactivity’?

Well she had this to say for herself about the whole thing:

“I can’t wait for you guys to start remixing ‘Trouble’! It is such an important song to me and I know that you all will put your creative talents into it. I’m looking forward to hearing what you will come up with and don’t forget there are some great prizes to be won too!”

‘Trouble’ is out October 7 so you’ve got a good month or so to get on with it. You won’t be at all surprised to hear that Talenthouse, the company that specialises in this sort of “oh let’s get ‘the fans’ to do everything on the cheap blah blah fucking blah” competition, is behind the whole thing.
