Kate Nash has taken time out of her busy schedule to collaborate with Willow Smith

Story filed by Brad O'Mance on June 14, 2012

Kate Nash has been talking about collaborating with ageing songstress Willow Smith on a track for her debut album.

“I’ve already done something with her and we intend to finish that and possibly work on something else,” the ‘I Hate Seagulls’ star revealed to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Willow’s management got in touch with Kate while she was working on her own latest opus in LA, and the pair wrote a song together. Kate describes the process as “so fun”, and Willow as “the coolest 11-year-old [she's] ever met”.

This whole interview is really ‘quite something’. It includes the question ‘You are very altruistic, have you always been so?’.

To which Kate modestly admits that, in fact, she grew up in an altruistic household so it comes quite naturally to her.
