Justin Parker would quite like to write some songs with Adele

Justin Parker, the man who co-wrote Authentic Chanteuse Lana Del Rey’s ‘Video Games’ and has been talking about it ever since, would quite like to write a song with Adele.

Talking to Bang Showbiz (as quoted here), Parker said: “I’m sure we could write something really beautiful.”

“But you never know – the thing about writing is you can have a bad day and you may never get to work with that artist again. You have to prepare and make sure you’ve got something you really believe in.”

If you’re thinking, ‘but he must be so busy now that he’s tasted success’, well think again: “I’ve been quite lucky. I do a lot of preparation. I don’t work tons. I try and work cleverly and try and work with people I really want to work with.”

His top tip for budding songwriters? “I advise everyone to learn the piano.”
