JoJo’s new album won’t be “boring”

Story filed by Mikey on January 11, 2012

JoJo says she has avoided the traditional “boring” pop formula on her forthcoming album ‘Jumping Trains’.

Enlisting the production talents of Danja and Darkchild she told V magazine: “I love Britney Spears and Madonna and Lady Gaga. I love pop music, those big pop records, but I still want it to feel like my sound.”

The album, scheduled for an April release, will be JoJo’s first in six years and the 21-year-old pop veteran is confident of its appeal, saying: “I want to sing what people are thinking and feeling. I want it to be the soundtrack to their lives.”
