John Mayer was ‘humiliated’ by Taylor Swift’s song about him

Story filed by Joshua Slaughter on June 6, 2012

‘Credible’ (boring) singer John Mayer has said that ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s song ‘Dear John’ made him feel terrible.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, the ‘Heartbreak Warfare’ hitmaker claimed that it was a “really lousy thing to do”. The song itself contains the lyrics, “Dear John, I see it all now that you’re gone / Don’t you think I was too young to be messed with”.

The singer pushes the knife in further by labelling the song as “cheap songwriting… I think it’s abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, ‘Wait till he gets a load of this!’”

Oh well!
