Janet Jackson will produce a documentary about transgender issues

Janet Jackson will executive produce a documentary about the issues faced by the transgender community.
The ‘Funny How Time Flies (When You’re Having Fun)’ hitmaker will also interview participants in the film, entitled ‘Truth’.
Janet said of the film: “‘Truth’ is our small chance to ask that you try and understand someone who lives their life in a way that is a little bit different from yours, even though all of our hearts are the same.”
Like world-healing types Lady Gaga, Jessie J and Nicola Roberts before her, Janet wants “to stop the hate and find understanding”.

Janet will begin production on ‘Truth’ this Summer.
