Gwen Stefani says it’s tough to find the time to make music

‘Wind It Up’ hitmaker Gwen Stefani has spoken about the “nightmare” of trying to balance her work in fashion and music and being a mother.

Chatting with Closer magazine (quoted here) she said: “I’ve never been able to balance being a mum and my singing career – it’s a nightmare.” She added, regarding her two boys: “If there’s a decision to make they come first.”

She noted that she wants to spend time with the boys when they’re young so that she doesn’t regret “working too much when they’re big and don’t want to cuddle me anymore”.

Cuddles are all very well Gwen but we wouldn’t mind you finding some time for that No Doubt record you’re supposed to be working on.
