Glee are doing another Britney episode

Glee will once again reimagine the works of Britney Spears, in the second episode of its fourth season.

The show’s latest homage de Brit will air following The X Factor’s Thursday night results show on FOX this autumn. Entertainment Weekly reports that the show’s producers are hoping to secure another cameo from the ‘Soda Pop’ singer quick smart, though nothing has been agreed as yet.

The plot will apparently not focus on Brittany S Pierce as the first Britribute did but it will reportedly include a total of eight Britney covers. The original Spears episode featured ‘…Baby One More Time’, ‘I’m A Slave 4 U’, ‘Me Against The Music’, ‘Stronger’ and ‘Toxic’.

Britney/Brittany was the network’s second most-watched episode of Glee ever, bringing in 13.5m viewers in September 2010.
