Friendly Fires have covered Lady Gaga’s ‘The Edge of Glory’ on Fearne Cotton’s BBC Radio 1 show.
The St Albans’ three-piece, ‘famed’ for their outlandish shirts and chinos combos, have turned what was once a peerless slice of saxophone-augmented pop wonderment into a, well, it’s a Friendly Fires song basically.
The only real shock was that Fearne didn’t think it was amazing. Instead, she thought it was “awesome”.
