Don’t worry, One Direction say they are keeping their name

Sorry One Direction, but One Direction are keeping their name.

In an Australian interview (viewable here), 1D funster Zayn Malik adamantly declared “No!” in response to a question about whether a legal challenge would mean the group would have to retitle themselves a la Little Mix, Liberty X, The Reason 4 etc.

“We’re not changing our name,” he went on. “We don’t have any idea [what's happening] but we’re not changing our name”.

We’re no lawyers but “we don’t have any idea” doesn’t sound completely legally binding. Mind you, what Zayn says goes, right? Right.
