David Guetta thinks his music brings cultures together

Story filed by Brad O'Mance on May 9, 2012

Clubiquitous DJ David Guetta believes that his music has bridged the gap between European and American cultures.

Talking about the fact that every American popstar with a pulse has started making LOLtastic club bangers, mostly with his help, Guetta told The Hollywood Reporter that he should take a lot of the credit (‘blame’) for what’s happened.

“I think I created that bridge between European culture and American culture,” he said, humbly. “American artists have embraced it so much and the American public has embraced it so much, adding so much into it too with the talent of all those amazing artists, and now it’s coming back to Europe with that new flavour.”

It didn’t stop there either. He added: “It’s going back and forth between America and Europe and it’s always getting better and better and better. I think this is wonderful for music and for the world. It’s just a beautiful moment that you see the rise of a new genre, really.”

Blimey. WHO WILL SLAY THIS BEAST.
