In what will go down as one of the oddest things ever to happen in a desert, Britney Spears finally announced her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood this afternoon (morning if you are reading in America).
She also revealed that her eighth album will be out on December 3, which is quite literally later this year.
Britney also referred to a song called ‘Perfume’, which she did with Sia, so perhaps she’s hinting at the second single.
The residency thing starts on December 27 and lasts for two years (TWO YEARS!), with Britters performing forty shows per year.
According to some blurb on the Ticketmaster website, Britney will re-imagine “her greatest past performances” as well as doing some of the new songs too.
