AND SO IT CONTINUES: Tulisa has (sort of) confirmed she’ll be back as a judge on The X Factor during an interview with BBC Newsbeat.

“As far as I know I’ve been confirmed so everyone shall be seeing me this season,” she said.

On the subject of Simon Cowell and her recent ‘travails’ she said: “He definitely dropped me a text and said some really kind words to me and I’m just really grateful to him for supporting me.”

She also revealed that some of her new songs have been influenced by her life experiences, saying that ”music is a way of speaking and expressing yourself”. Indeed.
