Adele’s ’21′ was the biggest-selling album on iTunes for the second year running

Story filed by Brad O'Mance on December 14, 2012

Adele’s ’21′ was the biggest-selling album on iTunes this year, as it was last year.

Second on the list was Taylor Swift’s ‘Red’, despite only coming out in October, followed by Mumford & Sons’ ‘Babel’, One Direction’s ‘Up All Night’ and Fun.’s ‘Some Nights’.

Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’ was the biggest-selling single of the year, followed by Goyte’s ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’, Fun.’s ‘We Are Young’, the technologically inadequate ‘Payphone’ by Maroon 5 and Nicki Minaj’s ‘Starships’.
