Faye – ‘Water Against The Rocks’
Released: June 25, 2012
Label: Best Fit Recordings
More info
Extraordinary, atmospheric spookballad 'Water Against The Rocks' is the debut solo release from 24-year-old pop veteran Faye, who some (about 12) of you may recognise as a former member of Swedish girlband Play.
It's a collaboration with ace production duo Montauk. Perhaps they are responsible for the gushing water sound effect in the breakdown? That's quite a breakdown. We are calling it floodstep.
You can keep up with Faye on her Facebook but we expect you'll be spending most of the rest of today on this page, hitting the 'Water Against The Rocks' play button again and again and a-bloody-gain because, let's be honest, there is nothing better than some ethereal Swedish electronic pop amazingness for a surprisingly hot May Thursday.
