The new Cheryl Cole album is a mostly joyless affair but among the handful of rewarding listens is 'Everyone'. It contains a rap from Dizzee Rascal and some spurious dubstep noises but to these ears it's the chorus melody that really does the job. Also, while 'Messy Little Raindrops' may not go down in the history books for its excellent lyrics, we love the unusually conversational approach of "sometimes life's unfair, don't you let that stop you though".
