“I did the Brits and started singing, ‘Hey-ho, here we go’ to a bunch of industry people and they were all just like, ‘Fuck off, you’re fat and you’re old’,” he mused, as reported by The Sun. “‘And Radio 1 don’t play you no more – you’re fat and you’re old’.”

Noticing Nick Grimshaw in the audience he added: “Isn’t that right Nick, you bastard?”

So that will help.

Speaking to Capital FM, Dizzee explained how Robbie Williams ended up appearing on his new single ‘Goin’ Crazy’.

“It’s just one of those things. I actually recorded the song a year before, last year in LA,” says Dizzee.

“Robbie’s name came up this year, and when I heard that I thought, ‘Yeah, that makes total sense’. But then he’d only record it as long as I was there, so I had to fly out to his house in LA.”

Dizzee also explained how ‘Goin’ Crazy’, which is released June 16, found its way onto his new album.

“I heard it and I just got excited because it had an indie feel to it and I just felt like that’s where music’s going to go,” he explained. ”I feel like there’s going to be a shift in music.”

Dizzee Rascal’s new single ‘Goin’ Crazy’, which features the dulcet tones of Robbie Williams, will be ‘premiered’ on the radio next Friday.

According to a press release the song will be played on “selected national and regional breakfast shows” at 8:15, but given that he’ll be on the Radio One breakfast show it’s safe to assume they’ll be playing it.

Other acts on the bill include Friends of Capital The Wanted, chart-toppers The Saturdays, Labrinth, controversy magnet Ellie Goulding, will.i.am and boyband, Lawson.

The ‘event’ takes place at Wembley Stadium on June 9 and tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at bloody 8am.

As reported by The Sun, the ’Spider-Man Theme’ hitmaker said of Robbie: ”I don’t think there’s anyone in my life, at this point, who I could relate to the way I could with Robbie.”

His poor wife. :(

“We’re around the same age, we’ve gone through a lot of the same things. He’s just become a dad, I’m just about to. We both have problems, we both probably go too far with things we do. He just talks about it more than I do,” he continued.

This is all very well Bublé, but what does it sound like?

“It’s catchy and fun, neo-swing. One of the lyrics is ‘Soda pop, Yoda what?’ Robbie wrote it when looking at UFOs.”

“We got a shot down us and it was all right after that,” mused Olly to – YOU KNOW IT! – the Daily Star Playlist.

“I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t gutted I lost,” he continued, suddenly sadface. “It was my first year where I genuinely thought I was going to win.”

He also sort of agreed with his mate Robbie Williams who branded the award show boring in that song of his.

“He’s got a massive point. I’m the last person to be controversial. I’ve never been someone to cause trouble with other artists, so I’m probably one of the people who Rob’s talking about who’s a little bit boring, but I’m his mate.”

“People don’t get into bother at the Brits any more because it’s less hassle to enjoy the night,” he continued.

That’s the spirit, Olly.

Chatting to – YOU KNOW IT! – the Daily Star Playlist, the ‘Toys, Toys, Toys, Choke, Toys, Toys, Toys’ hitmakers explained: “We got asked to have a writing session with Leona Lewis and play on Robbie Williams’ record ‘Take The Crown’.”

Basically, they just didn’t have the time, not even for Global Songstress Leona.

“Writing for others is something I’d love to do once we slow down as a band,” continued frontman Simon Neil. “But if you write a song that you think is one of the best ever, and it’s not for our band, I don’t know if I’d be happy giving it away.”

Apparently the Robbie thing came about because they’re all friends with producer Jacknife Lee.

“The guy who produced Robbie’s record – Jacknife Lee – is a friend of ours. I was at his house and he was in the middle of it when he asked me. If we’d had time we might have but I don’t think Robbie needs our help.”

Leona probably does though to be honest.

It’s called ‘The Brits 2013′ and features some swear words, a few drug references and the line “it’s like a VD clinic, only pricks are in it”.
