The Pussycat Dolls were initially formed as a burlesque troupe in 1995 but were transformed into a girl group in 2003.
The amount of flesh on show didn't change much during that transition, however.

The beginning of the end of The Pussycat Dolls arrived in 2009 when their cover of 'Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny)' was billed as 'The Pussycat Dolls feat Nicole Scherzinger'.
