Apparently the Nicola Roberts co-write is ‘Going Nowhere’, which we think is also the Xenomania one.

The album’s out on November 19.

He’s also confirmed that it will be ‘premiered’ in a forest in the middle of nowhere to an audience of practically nobody.

‘Taking to Twitter’, the ‘You (Better Let Me Love You X4) Tonight’ hitmaker said: “Pleased that my Nicola Roberts track with @hazzarozza (that’s Hannah Robinson, obviously) is getting its first play, in a Scottish forest, to nobody at all.”

Attached to the tweet was a link to a project by Frenchbloke who will be playing unreleased songs people send him via an FM Transmitter in Galloway forest.

The project is due to take place on October 6 and there’s more information on it all here.

Chatting to the Daily Star Playlist about all the famous people he’s been working with of late, thoughts turned to Nicola Roberts and his work on ‘Beat Of My Drum’.

“I didn’t really know who Nicola was,” Diplo began, “but she impressed me with how artistic she is. I’d be interested in working with her group.”

‘Her group’. Amazing.

He also talked about working on some new “electronic” stuff with Tinie Tempah: “Rather than go through his management, Tinie reached out to me directly, which I really respected.”

“We’ve been going back and forth on our tracks, but they sound in the vein of the rap stuff I’ve previously produced – hard and heavy and electronic.”

So now you know.

We think the simple names of these singers will do the job so we’ll just put them in a list (as found here) for you all to stare at.

Katy Perry, Cheryl ‘Cheryl’ Cole, The Saturdays, Scissor Sisters, Little Mix, Pixie Lott, Little Boots, Katy B and (last and most definitely least) Tinchy Stryder.

There is also Nicola Roberts acting as a ‘mentor’ too.

In her interview with Attitude magazine, quoted here, Cheryl says: “I think Nicola’s album was a great album and very, very reflective of her personality”. Exactly Cheryl, EXACTLY.

“She was ready to let loose and that’s exactly what she did, it was perfect,” she went on. Yes it was Cheryl. YES IT WAS.

‘Chezza’ also makes the excellent point that “her album didn’t get enough recognition for my liking”. Nail on the head there Cheryl. NAIL ON THE HEAD.

She also revealed this bombshell: “I was trying to get her to write one for my record actually, but she didn’t have time for us.”

The fact that there won’t be a song written by Nicola Roberts on Cheryl’s album but there will be one called ‘Sexy Den A Mutha’ makes us very sad indeed (although ‘Sexy Den A Mutha’ is actually quite good but that’s not the point here).

Posing a question we often ask ourselves about Olympic ogress Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl tweeted: “I am SO proud of @KimberleyJWalsh .. How can u love someone so much :/”

Moving shiftly through the rest of the band, Cheryl’s next PDA was for Team Fuschia leader Nicola Roberts. She described it as “Amazing” to have witnessed “somebody grow and blossom from a teenage girl into an Amazing young woman.” Amazing.

“.. I love my Girls so much,” she gushed.

What words of praise had she for the rest of rest of the GA gang, we wonder?

Well 2nd Adventure have been in touch to tell us about their mix of The Saturdays’ current single (which is out this week, not that you’d know from looking at Twitter) ’30 Days’.

Here it is in all its subtlety-eschewing glory.

We thought that this would be as good a time as any to reflect on some of 2nd Adventure’s other triumphs.

Beyoncé – ‘Run The World (Girls)’

We imagine this is what Diplo and Switch originally had in mind when they were working on ‘Pon De Floor’. “We know how we want this track to sound,” we suspect they said to each other, “but we just lack the studio mastery to pull it off. We will just have to put the song out how it is and hope that in a few years someone gets it right where we have failed to deliver.”

Nicola Roberts – ‘Beat Of My Drum’

The chorus of this one definitely needed livening up, so well done 2nd Adventure for adding some much-needed energy.

The Saturdays – ‘All Fired Up’

This one really captures the subtlety of the original (ie it feels like someone hitting you round the head with a bucket of potatoes).

Britney Spears – ‘Inside Out’

We are still upset – and with each month that passes increasingly angry – that this has not yet been a single. We say not ‘yet’ because there have been no announcements regarding the next Britney Spears album, and she’s definitely going to want to be plugging something by being on US X Factor because otherwise why fucking bother (except for the big cheque), so perhaps they’ll just do another ‘Femme Fatale’ repackage with this as the single.

Adele – ‘Rolling In The Deep’

It’s no ‘Set Fire To The Rain (Moto Blanco mix)’, but it’ll do.

Lady Gaga – ‘Born This Way’

We’re not sure this one really needed gaying up, but this version makes the original sound like Beady Eye.

Jessie J – ‘Domino’

Bloody hell.

DON’T COME RUNNING TO US WITH YOUR PINK HAIR BECAUSE WE WILL TELL YOU TO GO AWAY USING SOME FRANKLY QUITE FRUITY LANGUAGE.

As a small signifier of our fury, our despair and our hope that one day everything will be alright again, and in an attempt to restore some sort of equilibrium in pop, we have changed the Popjustice logo from pink to orange for one week.

The Sun’s ‘source’ said: “Earlier this year she considered buying a property in East London but now she’s looking elsewhere as she’s decided the pad will need gates to keep away superfans and photographers.”

This might all be bollocks as the ‘looking to buy a house in London’ line is something wheeled out every five minutes by publicists looking to get some column inches for their US clients, but the Battleship actress will film her fashion designer search for Living TV with Nicola Roberts between May and July, when she’ll also play Wireless, so that does work out quite nicely.
