• Nerina Pallot is from Jersey - the place, not the type of jumper.


• She wrote two songs on Kylie's 'Aphrodite'. The title track, and 'Better Than Today'.


• Her second album 'Fires' was a bit of a flop at first, but with a 'spangly' re-release, 'Everybody's Gone to War' reached number 14 in the charts. However the video was a bit of a mess (cleanup in aisle 14, etc).


• Do not believe what Wikipedia says about 'Put Your Hands Up' being meant for Kylie. It is very much her own song, and an above-average one at that.


• 'Year Of The Wolf' is a very listenable album indeed, but the singles failed to make much of an impact outside of Radio 2.


• Mind you Radio 2's still Radio 2, right? RIGHT.
