• Over the years reality TV stars McFly have managed to rack up seven Number One singles.


• This was their first one and very good it is too.


• McFly's debut album 'Room On The 3rd Floor' broke the record for the youngest ever band to achieve a Number One album. The record previously belonged to The Beatles, who are now old.


• The band's single 'Star Girl' features the line "when I fell in love with Uranus", which is funny because it's about a bumhole.


• In 2008 the band decided to 'go indie' and left major label Island to set up their own 'Super Records Ltd'. So far, McFly are the only artist signed to the label.


• In 2010 the band re-signed with Island. (?!)


• What do McFly and Prince have in common? They have both released albums as freebies bundled with the Mail On Sunday newspaper.
