• Justin Bieber achieved internet popularity early on in his career when his mum uploaded videos of him covering various R&B tracks onto YouTube. This eventually led to him being 'spotted' by a former So So Def marketing executive. The wonders of the internet age, etc etc etc.


• There's a disease named after him. It's called Bieber Fever and the symptoms include enjoying the music of Justin Bieber. It is not as bad as it sounds as lots of his songs are indeed rather good.


• Justin was signed to Island Records by Usher after an intense bidding war with Justin Timberlake. We like to imagine this as a kind of pop version of Bargain Hunt.


• There are four different versions of his debut album 'My World'.


• Bieber's first 'signature tune' was 'Baby'.


• His 'second' album, 'Under The Mistletoe', was all about how much he liked Christmas and featured Busta Rhymes on a unique version of 'Drummer Boy'. It was, let's be honest, quite shit.


• Things became extremely unshit in March 2012 when Justin unveiled the first single from his 'third' album.


• The single was called 'Boyfriend'. It contained reference to fondue, but it was also an early runner for Single Of The Year, and everyone decided Justin was the new Justin Timberlake.


• 'Believe' features in sort capacity or another the talents of the following: Nicki Minaj, Drake, Ludacris, Big Sean, Mike Posner, Diplo, Max Martin, Zedd, Savan Kotecha, Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins, Hit-Boy and Berry Gordy.
