• The band's mastermind is producer Andy Butler, who started his DJ career in a leather bar 'emceed' by hostess Chocolate Thunder Pussy. 'LOL'.


• Their first album featured guest spots from Antony Hegarty, who took a well-earned break from boo-hoo balladry to sing on one of the best songs of the decade.


• This, with Nomi out of Jessica 6, was a big poppers o'clock moment.


• By the time their second album came out, those vocalists had jumped ship and it seemed like cool online 'tastemakers' had lost interest.


• Which was a shame really, as the music was still good.
