Freemasons have put a bit of a new song called ‘Tears’ on the internet

A bit of a new song by Freemasons has been put on the internet.

‘Tears’ features some singing from Katherine Ellis and is apparently due out in the Spring next year.

There’s some blurb on the SoundCloud page about it all: “After a massive amount of twitter interest after it’s radio world preview late Dec , here is a sneak preview of one of the Big vocal tracks we’ve been slowly working on this year .. Nearly there – more to follow!!”

We heard a good mix of this on Kiss the other day.

We don’t think it was this mix.

But it definitely wasn’t the MJ Cole one.

Maybe it was this mix – it’s quite good.

Do you think it’ll snow this Christmas? Doesn’t look like it. Would be nice if it did though.

Roisin Murphy is going to pop up on the new album by The Feeling

Roisin Murphy, Betty Boo (!) and Sophie Ellis-Bextor are set to appear on an album together. Amazing. Less amazing is that said album is by The Feeling, but still.

The besuited five piece will release their third album, ‘Together We Were Made’, later this year with the aforementioned trio of ladies collaborating on as yet unnamed tracks, alongside production by the Freemasons.

Way back in 2009, singer Dan Gillespie-Sells told the Daily Star that the band were working on a “career defining album” and that it would be (even more) grown-up. So we suppose this one must be it.

A few weeks ago we featured the Freemasons mix of Alexis Jordan‘s amazing ‘Good Girl’ as Song Of The Day but it was the edit and therefore did not include what will probably be looked back on many centuries from today as the best thing Alexis Jordan ever put her name to, which is THIS amazing portion of music.

We are not sure exactly where this Freemasons mix of George Michael‘s ‘I Want Your Sex’ fits in with the whole 25th anniversary ‘Faith’ re-release campaign – a campaign which hasn’t, it’s probably fair to say, gone exactly according to plan – but let’s not concern ourselves too much with the whys, the whens and the whats when what we have here is a ten minute and seven seconds long Freemasons remix (and ten-plus-minute Freemasons mixes are always the best ones) with an amazing BANG BANG BANG BANG bit.

As you can hear it is similar in structure to the full length Freemasons mix of Kelly Rowland’s ‘Work’, ie it starts off quite banging then has a bit of a sit down in the middle then gets up again for an almighty rave-up at the end. Much like life itself, readers. MUCH LIKE LIFE ITSELF.
