The salient points

  • Freemasons are a Brighton-based band and remix and production 'outfit', created by James Wiltshire and Russell Small.

  • YES SMALL FROM PHATS & SMALL, WHAT OF IT.

  • Their name is taken from a pub the pair visited, not the scary secretive organisation.

  • They have recorded some amazing songs in their own right, like this for example.

  • But what we're really all here for is their amazing, kitchen-sink-included, single campaign-saving enormo-remixes they turn in for various members of the Knowles family and other artistes.

  • Let's have a look at one now shall we?

  • The Freemasons remixes of BeyoncĂ© and Shakira's 'Beautiful Liar', and Kelly Rowland's 'Work', were both amazing.

  • They basically shit amazingness.

  • They've done some really good stuff with Yasmin, too.
