Florrie's real name is, rather incredibly, Florence.
In 2008, after a chance meeting with Gabriella Cilmi's manager, she became Xenomania's resident drummer and subsequently hit things on Girls Aloud's 'The Promise' and other songs from the Xenomania back catalogue.
Florrie is a very modern type pop star (CORRECT AT TIME OF WRITING) which basically means she gives away a lot of her music, does tie ins with perfume companies and may never sell any records but that doesn't matter because everything will be FINE.
The whole 'not selling records' thing is not because she's rubbish, as this proves pretty definitively.
In 2012 she announced that she had enough of giving away her songs for free and releasing them on her own and decided if we want to listen to them then we'd have to cough up some cash as she was signing a major record label deal.
'Late' was Florrie's final self-released EP unless it all goes, technical muso term here, 'tits up'.
