Dr Luke started his 'musical journey' in 1997 on Saturday Night Live, where he was a guitarist in the house band.
At a house party he met Max Martin (AMAZING) and agreed to show him round some clubs in New York, which was nice of him.
He went on to produce 'Since U Been Gone' with Martin and we all know how amazing that is (clue: very).
Since then he's helped create 21 Top 40 hits in America for the likes of Katy Perry, Britney, Taio Cruz and Ke$ha.
This single by the Sugababes was produced by him and it's not exactly awful is it.
If you're a pop star and hoping to have a worldwide hit then chances are you'll pop by Dr Luke's studio, although be aware that in 2011 he signed a deal to have his own label with Sony which meant he wouldn't be able to produce artists on other labels or something so make sure you sign to Sony.
