• Of all X Factor winners, Alexandra Burke is the only one to truly master the dark art of singing and dancing at the same time.


• She got a bit weepy when she got to sing with Beyoncé, but who could blame her really.


• Alexandra's winner's single was a cover of an alt 'classic' so everyone got in a bit of a two and eight about it even though it doesn't really matter because at the end of the day music is the real winner etc etc etc.


• Taking her cue from Leona Lewis, she went away for a bit and came back with a proper belter of a single.


• She's given employment to both Flo Rida and Pitbull.


• When Kelly Rowland pulled a sickie on X Factor in 2011, Alex was the only person they could find to fill in. She said this and lots of people laughed at her but in hindsight it was pretty amazing.


• 'Start Without You' is simultaneously amazing and awful.


• 'Elephant' was just awful.


• Despite loadsa Number Ones and a platinum album, Syco let her go in 2011, which seemed like a bit of a rum old do, and RCA picked her up.


• Alexandra Burke has her own line of watches at Argos. She appeared on Argos TV to promote them. It was not one of her career highlights.


• After a bit of a hoo-ha with delays and what-not Burko finally 'dropped' her second album 'Heartbreak On Hold' in June 2012 - about a year later than originally planned. It features songs with such musical luminaries as 'DJ Smash', A1's Ben Adams and Rackety House Music's Erick Morillo.


• The ratio of ballads to belters on 'Heartbreak On Hold' is 1:11 which is about the right level Alex should be aiming for.


• She can certainly talk.
