• When Adam Lambert was a teenager he was cast in The Ten Commandments: The Musical.


• Amazingly he turned out to be one of the gays.


• In 2009, 'Lambo' auditioned for American Idol after taking "certain funguses" at the Burning Man festival.


• Chances are a lot of the people who voted were also taking "certain funguses" as they decided that  unspeakably boring warbler Kris Allen should be the winner, with Lambert finishing second.


• Lambert's debut album featured quite the list of collaborators, with input from Dr Luke, RedOne, Lady Gaga, Max Martin and, er, Muse.


• At the 2009 American Music Awards, Lambert caused 'quite a stir' by kissing a male bassist, grabbing someone's crotch and rubbing a dancer's head against his pelvis. In case you had forgotten, Lambert is a male of homosexual persuasion, FYI.


• In 2012 it was announced that Lambo would join Queen, while also promoting his second (and rather good) album, 'Trespassing'.
