Kerli - Second album news

She has started working on a new album with...Tricky Stewart and The-Dream. Don't know what will happen to her image.

I loved Walking On Air, but the album was a bit of a mess if the truth be told.  She has the potential to be brilliant, but she needs to get better A&R people and settle on a musical direction.

I saw 'Walking On Air' had 2.5 million views on youtube. I don't think it was a mess, the happy-sad theme was what she wanted all along. And I'm glad she said she would never call a cd 'Love Is Dead' again.

I'm not sure if working with Tricky is the best move. Very contradictory to her image. Seems like her record company took over to make sure she'll sell next time.

They did, she said she's supposed to deliver the radio hits Def Jam have been asking her and she's already recorded stuff and the label has been pleased. But I love the idea, really good music is the best image. You oughtn't be stuck in one thing for too long and if she has a new theme for the new cd, the better.

It's such a shame she wasn't chosen to represent Estonia in Eurovision back in 2004. 'Beautiful Inside' was sooo much better than that Urban Trad rip-off that got sent instead!

i cant wait for this album to come out. Love Is Dead was incredilbe.
on wikipedia it says her new album is to be called I. Nimene
i did some research and found out that "inimene" means human being in estonian
however i think "nimene" can also be a surname as well.
so this title has got some deep meaning behind it.
this really excites me and makes sense that kerli would come up with a title like this
her twitter updates are always a bit witty and poetic and deep

also i watched the performances on youtbe of the new songs (yes i can, red flags, etc.)
she looks totally awesome in them
the album is due this fall!

I loved "Walking on Air", it's the textbook example of a grower. I didn't know what to make of it at first. Token R&B beats, Björk-like vocals, creepy video.
But it all works perfectly together. Can't wait to see what this girl does next.

i waiting so so so paitently for this album it been taking forever

in her web shows kerli has said she has worked with people like verspertine, fall out boy's lead singer patrick stump, and lady gaga producer/cherrytree executive martin kierszenbaum

first single is rumored for feb or march release and album is due for spring 2010 and hopefully before or during may

the alice in wonderland soundtrack is big opportunity for kerli i know i'll love it ....i just hope everyone else will too
