You may now begin discussing the winner of next year's Twenty Quid Music Prize*.

..queue a deluge of "Popjustice hates the new Girls Aloud single" posts.

Well the title 'sounds' a bit dramatic anyway - I'm hoping for a not-veiled attack on Ashley Cole about "the promise" he made at his wedding.

Or some use of 'promise' in the "nudge-nudge meet me in my bedroom in 5 minutes" kind of promise.

I'm thinking it's going to be quite ballad-y with that title but then what do I know?

Shall we have a sweepstake of how many pages this thread will get to before anyone has heard a note?

My guess is 14.

Or a Kate Ryan(/whoever sang it first) cover of 'The Promise You Made'.
I'd really like that actually.

Or 'I Promised Myself'.
All very very good songs.

I know I already said this on the other thread, but I think it sounds so much better with 'The' in front of it.

Let's start speculating wildly!

That doesn't sound like a title that will actually be in the chorus - maybe not one of their catchier songs?

So was this the secret song then?

As a title, i love it, it sounds class.

Sounds very determined and bombastic, doesn't it? The Final Say, underscored, emphasized. Can't imagine a plodding little thing with this title attached to it.

Ahhh, it has a "The"! And yet for some reason that makes all the difference....makes it sound more punchy, powerful, it has intent.

I will now go and wait by my radio until Sunday rolls around.
