In the brown corner: Cascada with their new single 'Pyromania'.
Also in the brown corner: Jason Derulo with 'In My Head'.
We'd have to say Cascada win this one.
Not only is the song itself so derivative that it makes ITV2 seem like the home of boundary-busting broadcasting but even its video takes a lead from 'Poker Face'. Just how watered down is Cascada's Lady Gaga ripoff? Well conceptually, even, 'Pyromania' is just a dodgy ripoff of last summer's RedOne-produced Sean Kingston tune 'Fire Burning' which itself was a dodgy Gaga-esque knockoff, and if there's one thing we've learned from the last twelve months it's that there is only one person permitted to make dodgy RedOne soundalikes, and that's RedOne.
